EDITOR'S COMMENT: Endorphin receptors get stimulated by alcohol, drugs, and of course marijuana. I recently met a person that went back to "binge drinking", so she could pass a "drug test" for a needed job. She preferred marijuana to "mellow out", but could not afford to lose livelihood. Marijuana appears to be the "lesser of evils" if a person feels the need to numb pain and feel good.

EDITOR'S COMMENT: Fungicide challenges with foreign imported oranges simply portrays a larger issue, affecting all of us: Outsourcing jobs leading to lost farm land when we could supply oranges here, if and when our Government supports maintaining orchards here instead of more housing developments taking over land and cutting the trees down. Balanced trade is important, yet when jobs and vital agriculture here are axed to accomodate imported goods or greedy developers, we have similar issues to all the outsourced manufacturing jobs. More regulations need to be put on imports, bottom line.
